6IW is a site of game guides, walkthroughs and gaming hardware buying guides.
A bit of history
The 6iw.com domain was home to a game blog around 2009 to 2011. After years offline, it was relaunched in 2026 with a new focus.
What we publish
- Guides and walkthroughs that help you get more out of the games and consoles you already own.
- Gear buying guides for headsets, controllers, monitors, storage and other hardware, explaining what to look for and what the published specs actually mean.
How we write
We check facts against official documentation from platform holders and manufacturers wherever possible. We do not invent test results or claim hands-on testing we have not done. When information changes, we update the article.
Independence
6IW is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft, Nintendo or any other platform holder. All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
